Steven Bradbury among Aussie Olympic gold medallists set to commentate for Nine on Milano-Cortina 2026
Twenty-four years after Steven Bradbury glided to Olympic glory in the most improbable of sporting twists, the legendary Australian speed skater will be in Italy as an expert commentator for Nine at Milano-Cortina 2026.
Three of the six Australians who've won gold at a Winter Olympics — Bradbury, Lydia Lassila and Torah Bright — will be providing expert commentary on Nine's broadcast.
Australian winter Olympians Britt Cox, Steph Prem, Sami Kennedy-Sim and Jono Brauer have also been locked in as expert commentators, Nine announced on Thursday.

David Culbert, Mitch Tomlinson and Matt Hill will form part of the commentary team, too.
Bradbury won Olympic gold in the men's 1000m speed skating final in Salt Lake City in 2002.

Lassila triumphed in the women's aerial skiing in Vancouver in 2010, while Bright won gold in the women's snowboard halfpipe final at the same Games.
Nine will be based in the alpine village of Livigno, where many of Australia's leading medal contenders, including Jakara Anthony, Scotty James, Valentino Guseli, Laura Peel and Danielle Scott, will be in action.
In addition to the broadcast set-up Nine will have in Livigno, there will be a state-of-the-art set in Nine's North Sydney studio.

Nine's full hosting and commentary line-up will be unveiled in the coming months.
The Winter Olympics will be held from February 6-22, before the Winter Paralympics take place from March 6-15.
Nine's coverage of Paris 2024 reached 19.5 million Australians and earned the company a prestigious International Olympic Committee Golden Rings award, with the IOC deeming the network's television broadcast of the Games the best in the world.
