- Each event has 10 or 12 races, with the top 10 crews carrying their scores through to a double-points medal race
* 470 men - Mat Belcher and Will Ryan are third overall and will secure a medal of some description going into Wednesday's final
* 470 women - Carrie Smith and Jaime Ryan finished 13th and missed the medal race
* Laser - Tom Burton won gold after a dramatic medal race where he finished third
* Laser Radial - Ashley Stoddart finished ninth overall after finishing third in the medal race
* Nacra 17 - Jason Waterhouse and Lisa Darmanin won silver after finishing second in the medal race
* Finn - Jake Lilley finished eighth overall after finishing fifth in the medal race
* 49er - Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen are third overall and chasing silver or bronze after the New Zealand crew wrapped up gold before Thursday's medal race.
