Starc last in Olympic high jump final

Australian Brandon Starc has finished last in the men's high jump final at the Rio Olympics.

Starc's only successful clearance in the final on Tuesday night was at the opening height of 2.20m.

Only 24 hours earlier, Starc held his nerve in qualifying to advance to the final with a last-ditch effort at 2.29m.
