Crowd scolded as men's 100m hurdles repechage heat delayed by multiple false starts
One of the men's 100m hurdles repechage heats has been oddly thrown off by a bunch of false starts.
The first came after Kazakhstan's David Yefremov was disqualified following a slight twitch, moments before the starting pistol went off.
After a brief delay, the athletes took their positions again, only for another false start to occur when a member of the crowd shouted out.

Frustrated, the runners prepared for the next attempt, but a third false start followed, which seemed to be due to a technical fault.
After the delays, the athletes braced themselves for yet another attempt.
On the fourth attempt, it was a nail-biter, with both Brazil's Rafael Pereira and France's Raphael Mohamed clocking the exact same time of 13.54 seconds, but Pereira crossed the line first.

The next heat proceeded without any issues but was just as close, with China's Weibo Qin coming out on top with a time of 13.44.
Once again, there was a tie, as France's Wilhem Belocian and Japan's Shunya Takayama both clocked in at 13.45.
Australia's Tayleb Willis also competed in the heat, coming sixth with a time of 13.67, failing to qualify.
