O’Connor delivers another miskick

His horror miskick cost the Queensland Reds a Super Rugby victory just two months ago to leave James O'Conner red faced and despairing.

Now, the one-time Wallabies pin up boy has done it again, smashing a light inside a studio during a swimwear advertising shoot.

O'Connor was in the midst of a photo shoot for Funk Trunks, with Melbourne Storm utility Kurt Mann and North Melbourne Kangaroos forward Kieran Harper, when he picked up a rugby ball and let fly with a punt kick.

And just like his miscued clearance kick for the Reds against the Sharks the ball found the wrong mark, sailing into a studio light and blacking out the set.

Crew members screamed out in shock at the seemingly terrible bungle.

However, this time it all appeared to be deliberate, with the video part of a viral campaign for the Australian swimwear company.

Regardless, at least O'Connor has moved on from his Reds shocker and was able to have some fun.

Now all he has to do is cast aside the miskicks as he hunts a Wallabies recall in time for the World Cup, which stars in the UK in September.
