Young Bulldogs fan caught taunting Storm stars

A young Bulldogs fan has highlighted the hostile environment that will greet Canterbury’s opponents at Belmore Oval this year after being filmed taunting Melbourne Storm players.

The young supporter appeared to be waiting for the visiting side and let loose when the Storm stars, led by captain Cameron Smith, stepped off their team bus."You suck, you suck, boo," he yelled before demanding "go back to Melbourne, go back to Melbourne".The verbal barrage was picked up by a broadcast camera that was meant to be there for the sole purpose of filming the players arriving.Instead, the boy quickly became the centre of attention, with his jeers accompanied by heckling from a man he was with."Here they come, the losers off the bus," the man offered. It's not known whether he is related to the young supporter, or is a friend.Whilst somewhat ugly, the reception offers a glimpse of what the Bulldogs' rivals can expect at Canterbury's spiritual home, which boasted a sell-out 16,764-strong crowd for the Storm clash.And the Bulldogs' faithful weren't left disappointed, with their side blowing the Storm off the park from the opening whistle to romp to a 20-4 win.
