Senior players ‘angry’ with Benji amid bombshell Doueihi feud
Adam Doueihi’s standoff with the Wests Tigers has taken a sensational twist, with two teammates backing the utility in his battle with coach Benji Marshall.
The two players - senior members of the Tigers squad - are siding with Doueihi after his explosive walkout from training on Thursday.

The halfback had a heated conversation with Marshall when he was told he would not play his preferred position in the crucial game against Canberra this weekend, with rookie Javon Andrews given the No.7 jumper and Doueihi at lock.
Doueihi subsequently pulled out of the team for Saturday’s crucial clash.
But in the latest drama, two players close to Doueihi have sprung to his defence, causing more angst in the playing squad.
“Two of Adam’s mates in the team believe we need him to win and are angry he won’t be there at halfback,” one Tigers player told nine.com.au under the condition of anonymity.
“They think him playing halfback gives us our best chance of beating the Raiders and aren’t happy with this latest drama.
“It’s a game we need to win and Javon is a top prospect but this isn’t the time to blood him.
“I’m staying out of it, most of the young blokes are the same. The two players feel very strongly about it and have let the group know. It’s a mess.”
The club have been contacted for comment.
The Tigers sit 14th on the NRL ladder and basically need to win every game on the run home if they want to break a 15-year finals drought.
