NRL teams round 19: Big Brisbane Broncos boost as veteran utility Ben Hunt returns, Panthers rest Origin stars

Ben Hunt will return to the starting line-up for the Broncos for the first time in almost two months in what is a major boost in the club's premiership quest.

The 35-year-old has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, which he suffered late in the club's round 10 battle against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Hunt's return marks the first time coach Michael Maguire will field his favoured starting spine, with Adam Reynolds, Ezra Mam and Reece Walsh all named to start.

With Hunt donning the No.9 jumper against the Titans, Maguire was forced to move Cory Paix into the extended reserves while Billy Walters has been named in the 17.

Elsewhere, Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo has opted to stick with Matt Burton and Toby Sexton as the club's starting halves pairings.

As for the Panthers State of Origin stars, all have been named in the extended squad.
