Roosters unearth scary hombre
The Roosters are flying towards a finals berth and plenty of credit must go to the big boppers, who are starting to become a fearsome combination.
Key to the form surge has been Naufahu Whyte, who has evolved into a no nonsense young leader who looks capable of filling the shoes of longtime pack leader Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

Heading into the finals unchallenged as the best finisher in the game - scored two tries and laid on another in the thrilling win over the Panthers.
3. Kotoni Staggs (Broncos)
Scored two powerhouse tries as the Broncos came from 14 points down to beat the Dolphins in a memorable Battle of Brisbane.
4. Mawene Hiroti (Sharks)
Under-rated centre makes his Team of the Week debut after setting up three tries and running for over 200 metres in the massacre of the Titans.
5. Daniel Tupou (Roosters)
Anything Coates can do, Toups can do better. Bagged two tries from Sam Walker bombs and a third late in the game. Also safe at the back in the impressive win over the Bulldogs.
6. Hugo Savala (Roosters)
His booming kicking game kept pinning the Bulldogs deep in their own territory, paving the way for the Roosters' emphatic win.
7. Nicho Hynes (Sharks)
The Titans gave him time and space and that is what he loves - played one of his best games of the season, scoring two tries and creating a third.
8. Jackson Ford (Warriors)
Topped the tackle count and clocked up over 150 run metres in the hard-fought win over the Dragons.
9. Harry Grant (Storm)
Barely sighted in attack for 80 minutes but then came up with the smartest play of the season to snatch a golden point win over the Panthers.
