Radradra choses Aust over Fiji

Semi Radradra is poised to make his Kangaroos debut in May's Anzac Test after pledging his allegiance to Australia over Fiji.
Radradra has played four Tests for Fiji but qualifies to play for Australia through residency requirements.
The decision from the Parramatta winger, who is understood to have notified Kangaroos powerbrokers of the move on Thursday, has prompted fresh questions about the credibility of international rugby league.
Australia play their first Test this year against the Kiwis at Hunter Stadium on May 6 and the sensational NRL efforts of Radradra, 2015's leading tryscorer, have him in line for a spot on the wing in Mal Meninga's coaching debut of the national side.
Earlier this week Kangaroos skipper Cameron Smith said Radradra had every right to play for Australia but he had reservations about it.
"I'd love to have the bloke in my team. He makes the Kangaroos stronger," Smith said on Tuesday.
"But if we're looking at the overall picture of international football, it'd be great for him to represent Fiji. We're trying to promote our game globally and to create strong teams around the world.
"But at the end of the day, it's Semi's choice who he wants to represent. If the rules say he can play for Australia and he wants to, then no one can stop him really, can they?"
