Peter V'landys says NRL will 'consider' applications Israel Folau to return
ARL Commission chairman Peter V'landys says the game will "consider" any applications put forward by clubs to allow Israel Folau to return to the NRL.
The controversial cross-code star was recently linked with a move to the Dragons before a massive public backlash resulted in them cooling their interest.
It's understood the 31-year-old's camp last month wrote to both V'Landys and NRL CEO Andrew Abdo, requesting a meeting to discuss the criteria that would allow the former Storm and Broncos winger to make a return to the game.
Asked today whether the game would give Folau a chance, V'landys said the Commission wouldn't hold back but revealed the NRL is yet to receive any formal approach from a club.

"I don't know if we can say for sure he will be registered because no NRL club has submitted an application for him to be considered," V'landys told The Courier Mail.
"If someone wants to sign Israel Folau, the Commission will consider their application.
"At the moment, it's hypothetical until (an NRL club) comes forward.
"Israel Folau will be given every opportunity like any other person. We believe in due process."
