Cross-code superstar wows Thurston with solo try
A piece of individual magic from cross-code superstar Teagan Levi gave the Titans extra breathing space in their clash with the Dragons on Saturday, before an “absolute menace” sealed a clinical 26-10 victory.
Levi, who signed with the Titans this year after stints in the AFLW and rugby sevens, showed her class with 15 minutes left in her side’s clash with the Dragons.

With her side leading 14-10, the brilliant five-eighth scooted onto a pass on the right edge, threaded a grubber, regathered, and scored.
For good measure, she bumped off a couple of Dragons defenders along the way.
“What a superstar,” legendary playmaker Johnathan Thurston said on Nine.
“Honestly, nothing doing ... Just sums up the situation beautifully, puts it on the toe. [Taliah] Fuimaono is trying to use her shoulder to get her out of there, but just the strength and the speed to get past her.
“A great individual try.”
Levi’s halves partner Lauren Brown converted the try to extend Gold Coast’s lead.
Then, with seven minutes remaining, second-rower Evania Isa’ako barged over from close range to ensure there was no doubt the Titans would win.
“She has been an absolute menace since she came on for her second stint,” Jillaroos great Ruan Sims said.
Levi finished with a try, two try assists, seven tackle breaks and 20 tackles.
Georgia Grey, Laikha Clarke, Phoenix-Raine Hippi, Levi and Isa’ako scored tries for the Titans, while Maria Paseka and Ruby-Jean Kennard-Ellis crossed for the Red V.
Gold Coast are temporarily in second on the ladder after beating St George Illawarra, having pushed ahead of Brisbane.
