A number of female Australian rugby league players had to move hotel rooms in the middle of the night after they woke to an intruder in their room in Las Vegas.

NRLW player Indie Bostock, 19, posted to TikTok following the incident on Saturday (AEDT).

"Hotel swap because while in Vegas for a tournament your hotel room gets broken into and find a six-foot man standing in your room at 4am," Bostock posted over a video of her and teammates moving their luggage through a hotel.

Bostock played for the Dragons last season but left the club recently due to personal reasons.

She is among players in Vegas playing for the Aus Vegas Angels in a tournament which runs over two days, and is intertwined with the NRL's double header at Allegiant Stadium.

Angels coach Jeff Killick reported the incident to the hotel and said it wasn't isolated to just one intruder.

He claims at least one other room was broken into in the middle of the night.

"We're up on high floors - 31, 38, 36, 39. The trainer came down this morning and said, 'Jeff, I woke up this morning at 4.45am. I heard this noise and the light came on in my room. There were two people in there," Killick was quoted in News Corp.

"He said his roommate picked up a chair. The intruders said, 'This is Vegas'. And they ran out of the room."

It was after reporting that incident that Killick learned of the intruder in Bostock's room, where fellow player Georgia Wiley was also sleeping.

"Georgia Wiley said the same thing happened to (them). They woke up to a guy in their room with a beard and a beanie on. He ran out of the room," Killick was quoted in News Corp about the incidents.

"Parents have trusted me. A couple of the girls said sometimes when another door in the floor gets closed, their door gets opened.

"We found out today that anyone can go up to another level. This could have been the worst outcome."

Killick claims in another Las Vegas incident, some visiting parents went to a supermarket only to be confronted by a man "with an axe trying to rob them".

He says supermarket security chased the man out of the shop.
