NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 21

It’s round 21 of the NRL and our expert tipsters are on a high after a sensational performance last week.

Gus and Locky were on the money, tipping all eight winners, while Wally, Sterlo, Joey and Freddy all managed seven.

Freddy’s lead is being chipped away, he’s now just three points clear of Gus at the top of the table, with Wally poised to pounce in third spot.

Round 21 gets underway with the Panthers playing the Bulldogs, live and free on Channel 9 from 7:30pm Thursday.

“I think the Panthers are going to have a real run towards the semi-finals, and I think they’re going to be tough to beat in the semi-finals,” said Joey.

“The Dogs are in dire straits.”

“I think even without Matt Moylan who did a good job last week, I feel the Panthers,” said Freddy.

You can catch the Broncos playing the Eels, live and free on Channel 9 from 7:30pm Friday.

“Broncos getting all their players back, Darius Boyd, Jordan Kahu, for me the Broncos are the specials of the round,” is the verdict from Joey.

Freddy is in agreement that the Broncos will get the points.

“No Gutherson for Parra, Darius Boyd I think is a big in, especially for their defence,” he said.

“They’ve scored 76 points in the last two weeks, so I don’t think points are going to be a problem.”

The Titans host the Tigers, live and free on Channel 9 from 4pm Sunday, and Joey is expecting a close match.

“I’ll go the Titans, the Tigers showed some fight last week, I was impressed with them, they had a real dig, but I’ll go the Titans.”

Freddy is also tipping a tight contest with the Titans missing centre Konrad Hurrell.

“No Hurrell this week, I think the Titans will win, that’s my tip, but the Tigers are showing a bit of starch.”
