Rabbitohs re-sign boom young gun before November 1 chaos
South Sydney has secured boom backrower Tallis Duncan for a further three seasons.
The Rabbitohs announced the three-year extension for the 24-year-old on Wednesday, locking him down before he came off contract on November 1.

Duncan would have been able to field offers from rival NRL clubs, including likely lucrative deals from expansion sides Perth and Papua New Guinea.
He is now tied to the burrow until the end of 2030.
His Rabbitohs extension is reportedly worth about $750,000 per season, with clauses that mean he could earn more based on performances.
Duncan enjoyed a breakout season with the Bunnies and is now considered a representative player in waiting.
He has already played for the Indigenous All Stars twice but is on the bubble of the NSW Blues and Australian squads.
While he is an edge forward by trade, he spent time playing at centre this season while Latrell Mitchell was out injured.
He was named after NRL legend Gorden Tallis and hails from the Illawarra region.
“Tallis is one of the most exciting prospects in the NRL and we’re delighted that he sees his future here at this club,” head of recruitment Mark Ellison said.
“He has shown that he has the desire, the willingness to work hard and the character to, not only play at the NRL level, but to excel at that level.
“He’s had a taste of representative football, but we can all see that he will play at the higher levels of the game.
“He comes from a wonderful family and we’re excited to see the heights Tallis can reach in his career.”
Duncan’s deal comes as South Sydney sweats on the signature of Cody Walker.
The veteran five-eighth is without a contract beyond October, and was recently offered a $300,000 deal which was met with criticism from the likes of Andrew Johns.
The Bunnies were bounced out of NRL finals by the Knights in week one of the series.
