Wests Tigers set to shake-up halves pairing after mixed news from Jarome Luai, Adam Doueihi injuries

The Tigers have received mixed news on the injury front with Jarome Luai set for a four-week stint on the sidelines, while Adam Doueihi has been cleared of serious damage.
Those problems came during a loss to the Rabbitohs on the Central Coast with both men hobbling off late in the match.
With the scores locked up at 16-all, Luai suffered a knee injury in a friendly-fire collision.

Luai and Tigers winger Luke Laulilii were trying to put a tackle on Bunnies fullback Jye Gray when Laulilii looked to fall on the outside of Luai's knee.
He cried out in pain, but still tried run it off.
"This doesn't look good," Kevin Walters said in commentary for Fox Sports.
When the play came in his direction, a hobbling Luai could barely move. He came off the park and went straight up the tunnel.

To add salt into the wound, Alex Johnston scored what would turn out to be the match-winner only moments later.
Luai took no further part in the match. Cameras captured him sitting on the sidelines with an ice pack strapped to his knee.
With two minutes left, Doueihi became the second big-name injury concern, when he suffered a suspected hamstring injury with two minutes left on the clock.

He also limped straight off the field.
Doueihi missed 12 months of footy with an ACL injury in 2023, but has been injury-free since his return in late 2024.
After Latrell Mitchell gifted the Tigers a 14-12 half time lead, the Bunnies managed to hold on for a 20-16 victory.
