Broncos young gun released immediately to chase NFL dream
Broncos prop Ben Te Kura has officially been granted a release from the club and will move to the United States to pursue an NFL career.
The young gun was granted time away from his commitments with Brisbane earlier this season to take part in a six-week training camp.

Te Kura has clearly found success in the American sport, with the club confirming on Thursday morning that he would now move to Arizona full-time.
“I’m very grateful to the Broncos for everything they’ve done to support me in pursuing an opportunity in the NFL,” he said.
“Making my NRL debut for the Broncos against the Storm in 2024 was such an unbelievable moment for myself and my family.
“I owe the club so much for the faith they’ve had in me right from day one.”
At this stage, Te Kura has not signed with an NFL team but will move overseas to continue testing and training in the hopes of joining a roster.
Broncos general manager Troy Thomson wished the 22-year-old the best.
“This is an incredible opportunity and one we felt was important to help facilitate ... everyone at the Broncos wish Ben and his family all the very best,” he said.
The towering Te Kura played five NRL games for the Broncos.
He will now look to follow in the footsteps of Jordan Mailata, who played lower grades with South Sydney before becoming an NFL superstar.
