Cowboys duo Viliami Vailea and John Bateman face bans for separate incidents in the opening ten minutes of their loss to Melbourne on Friday night.
Vailea made the 'chicken wing' tackle on Storm enforcer Nelson Asofa-Solomona in the first half.
Infuriated, Asofa-Solomona hurled the Steeden at the back of Vailea's head as he stood him.

Vailea has been charged with a grade two dangerous contact offence and will be banned for one game if he accepts the early plea.

He faces two games on the sidelines if he fights the charge and is found guilty at the judiciary.
Bateman also faces a one-game ban for a tripping offence, involving Shawn Blore in the ninth minute of the AAMI Stadium clash.
The back-rower's punishment increases to two games if he fights the charge and loses.
The other player charged following Friday's games was Dolphins centre Herbie Farnworth, who will be fined $1000 for a careless high tackle should he enter an early guilty plea.
