NRL round 14 team lists: South Sydney, Brisbane receive major boosts; Tyrell Sloan axed by Dragons

In the midst of another gruelling State of Origin period, there have been a plethora of team changes heading into round 14 of the NRL campaign.

South Sydney and Brisbane will both welcome back key players, but the news isn't so good for the Dragons and Warriors, who both lost crucial members of their forward pack.

Meanwhile, it looks as though the Bulldogs could unveil their prized new signing in Lachlan Galvin, with the teenager named in the No.23 jersey for Monday's game.

Speaking to media on Tuesday morning, head coach Cameron Ciraldo confirmed that the 19-year-old would be named in the squad.

"There's six days left until we play," Ciraldo said.

"He'll be named in the 22 today and we'll make those decisions later in the week.

"He was really comfortable with understanding he had to come here and earn the right to be in our team and he had no qualms about that.

"The first two sessions he's had here, he has impressed us all with his attitude and work ethic and if he continues that, he will be in the team before long."

While the young gun is in the mix to play against Parramatta, Ciraldo confirmed that Toby Sexton would retain the No.7 jumper and Reed Mahoney would remain at hooker.

"Toby will be the halfback on Monday against the Eels," the coach said.

"Reed will be the hooker too - there's no other decisions there."
