'Difficult to witness': League great stunned by 'pedestrian' Eels attack as Jason Ryles endures tough start
Parramatta's season has started in horrendous fashion and according to league great James Graham, there is a "big list" of issues that need fixing.
In their first two games since Jason Ryles has taken over as coach, the Eels have leaked 88 points in defeats against the Storm and Tigers.
The round two performance, which came just days after five-eighth Dylan Brown signed with a rival club, has started to heap immediate pressure on Ryles.

After spending time in the Melbourne system under Craig Bellamy, many expected to see significant improvements to the Eels defence once Ryles took over.

Unfortunately it has been the complete opposite thus far - but that might not be the main area of concern for the blue and gold outfit.
"The game is about defence and they conceded over 30 points and they conceded over 50 points the week before - but their attack was just pedestrian," Graham told Triple M.
"It was difficult to witness, against a team that defensively has their issues. They created almost zero opportunities until the 79th minute.

"They just lack any form of creativity, they couldn't get an extra man ... it just didn't work. It was so pedestrian and so predictable.
"If you're Jason Ryles, where do you begin? It's a big list."
The absence of Mitchell Moses has been felt in the first fortnight of action, with Brown struggling to make an impact without his usual partner in crime.

Moses isn't expected back for at least another month, putting the Eels on the back-foot.
The side have also lost Clint Gutherson and Reagan Campbell-Gillard in the off-season, while experienced forwards Ryan Matterson and Bryce Cartwright played in the reserve grade competition over the weekend.
Parramatta will receive a major boost in round three however, with star winger Josh Addo-Carr set to make his club debut against the Bulldogs.
