'You guys are badasses': Cronulla Sharks players surprise popstar Katy Perry during Vegas trip
Cronulla failed to come back from Las Vegas with a victory - but they did manage to make a fan out of global popstar Katy Perry.
The premiership contenders went 28-22 down to the Panthers in a hard-fought clash on Sunday afternoon (AEDT), but two of their stars did get a chance to rub shoulders with one of the biggest names in the entertainment world.
Nicho Hynes and Kayal Iro were invited into the SiriusXM studio during the Sin City trip to meet Perry during the network's highly-rated morning show.

Perry invited the pair to attend her upcoming shows in Australia when she tours in June, as well the unique offer for one of the players to wear a shark costume, which was a reference to her iconic Super Bowl performance.
She was one of many big music names to feel the NRL fever in Vegas last weekend, with the likes of T-Pain and Fisher involved in post-game celebrations.
