'It was definitely a dive': Harry Grant laughs off Logie offer in hilarious TV grilling
Melbourne captain Harry Grant might be public enemy No.1 among Panthers fans, but to his credit he fronted up on Friday morning to discuss his controversial act in Thursday night's NRL thriller.
And he even got one back on Today's sports presenter Danika Mason, who was among those not overly impressed by the skipper milking a penalty to deny Penrith a game-winning field goal at CommBank Stadium.
Grant ran from marker straight into Penrith prop Moses Leota, earning a penalty which resulted in a Nathan Cleary field goal being disallowed. Grant would then score the winning try in extra time.

Speaking about the incident on Nine's Today, Mason pointed out many fans would be left disgruntled.
"He was playing up to it," Mason said.

"He's done it before, that was a dive. It was definitely a dive.
"People are getting a bit sick of it."
Unbeknown to Mason, Grant was already on the line and waiting to appear on Today.
She got the shock of her life when host Karl Stefanovic revealed Grant had heard everything she had said.

"It's two v one, sorry Danika, you're outnumbered," Grant smiled as the panel laughed.
Mason replied, "Harry you've got the best acting skills, we might have a Logie around the office".
The skipper again defended his actions, which both the on-field referee and the Bunker official deemed to be fine.
"They are the rules," he said.
"It was good to see Bellyache (Storm coach Craig Bellamy) smile, they are few and far between."
Mason then got her hands on a Logie from the Today set and jokingly offered it to Grant for his acting skills.
"Is that Karl's? It wouldn't be yours, Danika," the hooker laughed.
"Put that in your back pocket Karl and Sarah, you deserve that."
The Storm are premiership favourites and Thursday's game could very well have been a grand final preview.
