Manly Sea Eagles skipper Daly Cherry-Evans laughed off a cheeky F-bomb dropped at half time, during a chat with Fox League.

The interview followed a low-scoring first half, where the Sea Eagles scored late to take a 6-0 lead over the Wests Tigers.

When asked if he was feeling frustrated by the tight tussle, Evans said things were OK.

"I haven't felt frustrated, to be honest with you. We've had to work really hard, and the Tigers team showed up," he said.

"Really happy with the way we just put a heap of work into them. If we do our job properly in this second half, we should bear the fruits."

How would they attempt to change things in the second half? That's where the magic was dropped.

"Continue to put the ball down this corner. Eventually, we're going to get some classy tries. So, we've just got to f--ken—oh, we've just got to back ourselves," he said with a big grin after pulling himself up."

Fox's Yvonne Sampson found it amusing after the interview, saying: "Goodness me, a little slip up there from DCE".

The West Tigers were held scoreless in the opening half as Sea Eagles winger Jason Saab broke through for the first try of the match in the 39th minute.

Saab was sent over in the corner by Tom Trbojevic with Reuben Garrick converting to give Manly the advantage.
