'Lives and breathes our values': Wests Tigers extend in-demand star Fonua Pole until end of 2027
Fonua Pole has knocked back advances from rival NRL clubs to extend his stay at the Wests Tigers for another two seasons.
The young gun has cemented himself as one of the club's best forwards and after the departure of Stefano Utoikamanu, his fresh deal is a major boost for the joint venture.
Pole's new contract will see him remain at Concord until the end of 2027 despite receiving plenty of interest from other teams, including the Melbourne Storm.

"I'm so happy knowing I'll be here at the club for at least the next three seasons," he said in a statement on Friday.
"Although it's been a tough few years, I've loved the mateship and resilience in the team. Now is such an exciting time for us as a club.
"I just want to keep working hard and continue to improve as a player."
Pole has played more than 50 games since making his first-grade debut, averaging over 100 run metres per game this year.

The extension for Pole comes just days after the Tigers signed Terrell May.
In other Tigers news, front-rower Sione Fainu - the brother of Latu and Samuela - will stay at the club on a train-and-trial deal heading into 2025.
