Former NRL player Laitia Moceidreke joins NFL's pathway program
Jordan Petaia won't be the only one heading overseas to chase an NFL dream, with former NRL player Laitia Moceidreke also joining the international pathway program.
Last week, Petaia announced his plans to move to the United States in a bid to make a name for himself in American football after starring in rugby union.
The 24-year-old played 31 games for the Wallabies and more than a half a decade in the Super Rugby competition before making the surprising switch.

The full list of athletes from the Asia-Pacific region have now been revealed, with ex-Cowboys winger Moceidreke among the group.

The younger brother of Fijian international Sitiveni, the 24-year-old has the size and raw talent to fit into the program, despite only playing one first grade rugby league game.
Moceidreke was most recently with the Newcastle Knights in reserve grade.
Also included in the 2025 class will be Nathaniel Salmon (basketball), Janeiro Wakeham (rugby union) and Laki Tasi (rugby union).
The five athletes will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Philadelphia Eagles star Jordan Mailata, who has become one of the best offensive tackles in the league.
