'Haven't really thought about it': Kalyn Ponga addresses wild links to Sydney Roosters

Kalyn Ponga has addressed rumours linking him to the Roosters despite his contract running until the end of 2027.
With the Roosters losing a number of key players, reports have bubbled around that Ponga could one day line up with the Tricolours.
Ponga was at the Cowboys before landing in Newcastle, and the man who has played a key role in his career, recruitment guru Clint Zammit, is now employed by the Roosters.

Zammit previously worked in recruitment at the Cowboys and Knights before moving to the Roosters in 2023.

Despite the persistent rumours, Ponga told 9news' Danny Weidler he wasn't aware of the link.
"I haven't really thought about it or heard about that ... I've got other things to worry about," he said on Nine's 100% Footy.
"I've got three years left, I'm enjoying my footy, loving the group I'm in and I'm ready to hopefully go up there and do a job (at North Queensland)."

The Knights snuck into the finals off the back of Ponga's masterclass against the Dolphins, and will play his old club the Cowboys in Townsville for the first week of finals.
