Kevin Walters praises sizzling Reece Walsh display after young gun's 'tough' week
Brisbane coach Kevin Walters has praised fullback Reece Walsh's strong showing in the Broncos' 30-14 win over the Cowboys after the death of his uncle this week.
Walsh was a standout for the Broncos and sealed the result with a try in the 74th minute.
After benefiting from a botched intercept attempt, Walsh scooped up the ball and sprinted away to score.

Diving over the line, Walsh quickly got to his feet and signaled to the sky in an emotional tribute to his late uncle.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Walters praised the 21-year-old for turning in a top performance despite the family tragedy.
"He's had a tough week Reece with family and the like. It was a really strong performance from him after a tough week," he said.
"It was great to see him get that try and he showed some emotion when he got it.

"He made some really big plays for us. I thought his work out the back with Jock (Madden) and Ezra (Mam) was really good and defensively he came up with a couple of really good plays for us to get our numbers right."
In addition to his try, Walsh finished the match with two linebreak assists, a linebreak, four tackle busts and 135 run metres as Brisbane drew level with the Panthers at the top of the league table.
