Kieran Foran winds back the clock with vintage performance in Titans win over Parramatta

Gold Coast Titans star Kieran Foran is putting his name up for signing of the season after a vintage display from the veteran at Magic Round.

The home side made it two in a row after a 26-24 win over Parramatta, with Foran scoring a double, his first since 2015 when playing at Manly.

The five-eighth could've had a hat-trick in the first half when he was unmarked on the inside but winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira decided to chip over the top to score his first of the night in the 22nd minute.

Foran found the lighter side post-game though.

"He didn't trust my speed on the inside even though no one was near me, he backed himself so good on him," Foran told Fox League.

The Titans had a 16-4 lead at half-time, with Maika Sivo scoring the first for the Eels one minute in. Clint Gutherson's sin bin in the seventh minute led to both Foran's tries, proving to be a costly professional foul from the captain.

After leading the Dolphins 24-6 at the break in round eight, the Titans would've been determined to not repeat the same mistakes.

Unfortunately for them, the Eels were let back in the game with Maika Sivo scoring his second right after half-time.

Khan-Pereira had a double in the 50th minute when he ran 90 metres off an intercept try.

The Eels kept coming though as Sivo grabbed a hat-trick and Gutherson scored his own.

Titans centre Brian Kelly and Eels new signing Andrew Davey both scored in the last ten minutes with the Titans holding on.

Foran believes the demons from the Dolphins game are still present.

"They're still there at the moment, obviously we had a few games there where we've let them back in the second half so it's an area of concern," he said.

"It's something we need to address but I guess the pleasing thing was that we were able to hang in there and get the two points."

The veteran also opened up on his injury troubles, after encountering problems with his toe last weekend in the win against Manly.

"I'm going alright, I've got a few bumps and bruises I'm just managing through the week," he said.

"I'm not able to train too much, just basically on ice and then trying to get myself going at the back end of the week, that's pretty difficult but I'm hanging in there and just grateful to be out here."

A category one concussion to Parramatta Eels halfback Mitchell Moses with minutes remaining added insult to injury for the side as they prepare to play the Raiders next weekend.

The Titans will be at Newcastle against the Knights on Sunday.
