Canberra Raiders star Corey Harawira-Naera has refused to call time on his NRL career despite his coach saying he is "very unlikely to play again".

Harawira-Naera's 2023 season was cut short after a mid-game seizure, and Raiders coach Ricky Stuart indicated the 28-year-old was likely to be forced into retirement due to his health issues.

"It is really sad for the kid… it's a tragedy actually," Stuart told Wide World of Sports.

"But we are supporting him and looking for a pathway for him after football.
