The Mole: Knights to discipline NRLW star over offensive Instagram post about Queen's death
The Newcastle Knights are set to discipline one of their star female players after she posted a highly offensive and insensitive comment about the Queen's death on social media.
Former Jillaroos star Caitlin Moran posted the comment, along with a photo of Queen Elizabeth II, on her Instagram account on Friday morning.
It is so offensive that Wide World of Sports has chosen not to republish it.

Moran deleted the comment from her Instagram story some eight hours after posting it - but only after Wide World of Sports made the Knights aware of its existence.
The club declined to comment other than to say it would look into the matter and deal with it with the appropriate confidentially required due to its sensitivity.

The NRL also declined to comment.
A former Brisbane Bronco, Moran is among the highest profile players in the women's game and joined the Knights this season.

The 25-year-old halfback was a member of Australia's Rugby League World Cup winning squad in 2017 and has also played for New South Wales and the Indigenous All Stars.
