Well that didn't take long! Sam Walker gets the Roosters' first after some nice work from Angus Crichton in the leadup, and then despite some spirited tackling on their goal line, Joey Manu breaks Brisbane's resolve.

A 10 point deficit becomes a two point lead in the space of six minutes!

Some things just make sense - and as Shaun Johnson's golden-point field goal sailed through the posts against the Cowboys, it was painfully obvious that him being at the Warriors was one of those things.

There was a genuine sense of unease a lot of the time while watching Johnson at the Sharks, because you always felt there was only one club at which he truly belonged.

It was like seeing Glenn Stewart in a Rabbitohs jersey, or Wendell Sailor with a Dragon on his chest. It just didn't feel right.

An injury cloud is hanging over marquee Brisbane recruit Adam Reynolds after botched a conversion attempt and clutched at his right knee.

The Broncos halfback butchered his kick after the Corey Oates try and was clearly troubled by his knee.

"Adam Reynolds is limping after that attempted conversion, which was most un-Adam Reynolds-like," said Nine caller Peter Psaltis.

"There is some concern about Adam Reynolds, who was quite distressed after that attempted conversion."
