Lights go out on Dragons and Raiders in NRL
The St George Illawarra Dragons and the Canberra Raiders have been left in the dark after an electrical problem shut down the lights around and inside Jubilee Oval.
The pre-match routine of the Raiders was thrown into disarray with the players warming up in the dark after a blackout hit the dressing sheds.
Footage of the electrical shutdown shows a number of club officials roaming around the room while lights from emergency vehicles flash through the window.
The fire department were called to the stadium as a security measure.
However, the problem wasn't isolated to just the change rooms with the main light in the south-western corner unable to fire during the game.
The Channel Nine commentators agreed at half-time that the power problems contributed to a poor first 40 minutes with the Dragons leading by just the one converted try.
