Report: Latrell Mitchell to meet with Wayne Bennett
Latrell Mitchell is set to meet with South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Wayne Bennett this week with hopes of securing a move to Redfern.
The Daily telegraph reports Mitchell will be a key priority for the club as they look to finalise Jai Arrow's release from the Titans in the next 24 hours.
Mitchell is currently stuck in a contract limbo as the Rabbitohs are yet to offer the star Rooster a deal with the club prioritising Arrow's immediate release.
Arrow signed a four-year contract starting from season 2021, but South Sydney are focused on having the Origin forward lining-up for the club from the start of the 2020 season.

The report suggests locking down Mitchell will be the club's next priority once they've finalised Arrow's situation.
Mitchell is expected to sign a two-year deal on a much smaller pay packet with hopes of taking over South Sydney's fullback position.
Mitchell's name this summer has already been linked with a number of wildly different offers and contracts.
The Wests Tigers reportedly offered the 22-year-old $1 million per season, while the Roosters were known to have withdrawn a contract worth close to $800,000 per year.
