Former NRL player Kenny Edwards charged over 'Hopoate' finger-poking accusation
Former Parramatta forward Kenny Edwards faces a two-month ban after accusations he put his finger up the backside of fellow ex-NRL player Sam Kasiano.
The Huddersfield back-rower was placed on report during Thursday's defeat to Catalans Dragons - but no one knew the charge until a few hours ago.
The incident brings back memories of former Kangaroos winger John Hopoate, who was suspended for 12 weeks for a series of similar incidents involving three separate North Queensland players in an NRL match in 2001.
Hopoate was playing for Wests Tigers at the time and was suspended for 12 weeks.

Former Eel Edwards was charged with a Grade F charge of 'other contrary behaviour' by the English judiciary overnight.
If he is found guilty, he is likely to be outed for at least eight weeks.
He will learn his fate in a hearing mid-week.
Edwards was a talented forward at Parramatta, but his career was always dogged by controversy.
