Graham's ankle no concern at Sharks
Wade Graham could play in Cronulla's trial match this weekend, with the Sharks clearing him of an ankle injury sustained in the NRL All Stars clash.
Graham limped from the field late in Saturday's match for the Indigenous side after Maori skipper Adam Blair landed on his ankle in a tackle.
But Cronulla medical staff have determined the club's captain does not require scans and could be available to play Manly at Kogarah on Sunday.
Centre Jesse Ramien will also be free to play provided he takes an early guilty plea for dangerous contact on Kalyn Ponga from the All Stars game.
Ramien, who was dominant with 10 tackle busts at centre for the Indigenous team, copped a grade-one charge for a second-half tackle on Ponga but can take carry-over points.
Meanwhile luckless hooker Cameron King is still awaiting the result of scans on his knee.
The club believe it is an anterior crucial ligament, which would end his season after he was injured in their trial loss to Canterbury.
It would be a cruel blow for the 28-year-old, who has only returned to the NRL in 2020 after going unsigned last year in Australia and playing in the English Super League.
The Sharks are also managing the workload of star fullback Matt Moylan who trained on Monday with the team but has had his workload modified in a bid to manage his troublesome hamstring.
The 28-year-old suffered repeated problems which reduced his 2019 season to 11 games and is no certainty to be fit for their round-one clash with South Sydney on March 14.
