Sharks dealt massive blow as Hynes fails HIA
ALLIANZ STADIUM: The Sharks were dealt a huge blow early in their semi final against the Roosters after Nicho Hynes failed a HIA.
Hynes was forced off the field in the opening minutes after replays showed he copped a heavy blow trying to put a tackle on Salesi Foketi.

“That might be lights out,” Phil Gould said in commentary for Nine.
When Lindsay Collins scored the opening try for the Roosters moments later, Hynes departed from the ground and would not return.
The ruling means if the Sharks go on to win the clash, he will be forced to miss the preliminary final against the Dolphins.
Daniel Tupou scored the Roosters second of the evening when he flew above Sione Katoa on the wing following a pinpoint perfect kick from Hugo Savala.
“There’s no defence for this, sometimes you just have to stand and applaud,” Gould quipped.
But after the Roosters fast start, the Sharks started to fight back. Sione Katoa was first to go over, before a stunning run from Siosifa Talakai set up the Sharkies' second.
Blayke Brailey made a dart from dummy half before Talakai broke the line. He was taken down only 20 metres out before Braydon Trindall hit Ronaldo Mulitalo with a short ball and the winger went over.
“Don’t doubt the physical drain the Roosters will have from the Panthers. They’ve started on fire but the Sharks have hung in there,” Phil Gould said.
Daly Cherry-Evans scored the Roosters’ third for the evening just shy of the half hour mark. Hugo Savala made it three kicks from three to give the half-time 18-10 score.
