Sharks star Fifita threatens to quit NRL following Kangaroos snub

Cronulla Sharks prop Andrew Fifita has reportedly threatened to quit the NRL after the Kangaroos snubbed him because of his links with a one-punch killer.

Days after scoring the winning try in Cronulla’s history making grand final win over Melbourne, Fifita’s anger over his Kangaroos snub has left him questioning his future in the game, Fairfax Media reported.

The NRL this week ruled Fifita ineligible for national team selection as they continue to investigate his links to one-punch killer Kieran Loveridge.

Fifita wrote the initials ‘FKL’ on his wrist taping at various stages of the season in what was viewed as a show of support for Loveridge.
