Brisbane Broncos winger Corey Oates scored a try to remember in the first half of the Broncos clash with South Sydney at ANZ stadium.

A set move through the hands, including a flick miss-pass from Darius Boyd, released Oates into the left corner and he dives over acrobatically to get home.

As Oates moved to make to the try-line, he flicked his legs up and held the ball in one hand as his body hovered over the corner post.

The Broncos three-quarter somehow reaches out with the ball sticking to his hand like glue and he grounds it right on the line as the South Sydney winger tried to bundle him out into touch.

But Oates maintained control as he weathered the impact from the hit as the corner post and his body were flung into the air after impact.

South Sydney struck first through a mistake at the back gifted Souths hooker Damien Cook a try in the fifth minute.

Oates hit back eight minutes later with the try above and scored not long after to give the Broncos a handy lead midway through the first half.
