Boyd reacts angrily to Bennett question

Queensland and Newcastle NRL star Darius Boyd has continued his media-agitating antics, reacting angrily after being asked about coach Wayne Bennett's departure from the Knights at the end of the NRL season.

Footage of the awkward exchange filmed this morning shows a female TV reporter ask about Boyd's only ever NRL coach as the player leaves the Maroon's hotel in Brisbane .

"Are you serious? Are you going to hammer me with questions?" Boyd asks the journalist.

"Interrogation is it?" he says. "Can't enjoy a good Origin win," he adds, referring to the Queensland's 32-8 win over the NSW Blues last night.

"Put this on the news, that'll be good," he adds as he walks around the car.

The winger then gets a parting shot in as he walks past the reporter.

"You don't have any more questions?" he says. "You lost for words?

It's not the first time the rep star has been uncooperative with the media.

He famously only gave one-word answers during a press conference when he was with the Dragons in 2009.

Bennett is the only NRL coach Boyd has known. The former Brisbane Broncos fullback followed Bennett to St George-Illawarra in 2009 and Newcastle in 2012.
