NFL referee shoves player during melee
A referee in the NFL got a bit carried away while trying to stop a scuffle from escalating.
During the Viking’s loss to Philadelphia, back judge Keith Ferguson found himself amongst the scrum in the end zone when Minnesota receiver Stefon Diggs and Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks started tussling.
Instead of getting in between the players and calming them down the 17 year veteran reached into the mish mash of players grabbed Diggs and pushed him away from the ensuing melee.

It didn’t end there though.
The ref decided to take things further when he continued to shove the Vikings wide receiver like a bouncer kicking out an unruly drunk.
Sure, referees are human too but it’s clear this ref needs to control his emotions a bit better or make himself available for the draft.
