NFL dives Marshawn Lynch dives into pool of Skittles

A devotee of Skittles and NFL star Marshawn Lynch has dived into a pool of his favourite lollies using his trademark crotch-grabbing touchdown celebration on the Conan TV show.

The controversial Seattle Seahawks running back, who is as famous for his monosyllabic press conferences as his destructive runs, is an unashamed advocate of the confectionary brand, even eating them on the sidelines during games and claiming they help him on the field.

In the segment, Host Conan O’Brien first told the stories of how Lynch was once fined for wearing Skittles boots and how he brought the candy to the filming of a hilarious segment of the show prior to the Super Bowl, before asking the NFL star if he would like to fulfil his dream of diving into an ‘endzone’ of Skittles.

Lynch was more than happy to take the host up on his offer, giggling as he dived into the pool of thousands of the lollies backwards while holding his crotch, a celebration for which he was fined $20,000 by the NFL during the season.
