Near-perfect score for Sally's first 2014 title
Sally Fitzgibbons has won her first WCT event title of the season with a win at the Rio Women's Pro this morning.
The NSW South Coast surfer smashed three turns for a near-perfect 9.27, putting her past Hawaiian champ Carissa Moore.
Fitzgibbons ended up on 16.27 in total, beating Moore on 14.67.

"That's what I've been chasing all season," said Fitzgibbons.
"It was a hard fought battle and to win again in Rio is so special."
She earlier comfortably beat fellow Aussie Tyler Wright in the semi-final.
