Dave Casey walks away unscathed after 'massive' barrel roll crash at Bathurst
A V8 SuperUtes driver has walked away unscathed after a barrel-roll crash at the Bathurst 1000 on Saturday morning.
Dave Casey, in the #782 Mitsubishi Triton, veered off course at Murray's Corner after he was tapped by Luke Webber down the crest under the bridge.
He was sent sliding through the grass near pit entry but when he made it to sand he was sent into a barrel roll, completing two spins in the air before landing back upright.

Luckily, Casey walked away to applause from the crowd.
Casey's crash came after a dramatic start to the race, with one car going early and setting off a series of wild collisions before the first turn.
Meantime, Clay Richards has been released from Orange Hospital following his heavy Toyota crash on Friday.

He was sent for checks after he suffered concussion issues during the prang coming out of Hell Corner.
"Had a nasty shunt today which sent me to the ER," Richards wrote on social media.
"For those who don't know I was involved in a multi car pile up which knocked me out. "Feeling a lot better though slight headache but got released from hospital tonight.
"Big thank you to the medical staff who looked after me at the scene and in the medical centre.

The SuperUtes return to the track for their third race of the weekend later on Saturday before a fourth race on Sunday morning.
