Mike Tyson offers Ronda Rousey advice about losing following KO knockout

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson says UFC star Ronda Rousey should “show her face” following KO loss to Holly Holm in Melbourne.

In an interview with US talk show host Conan O’Brien, Tyson stressed that Rousey has nothing to be ashamed of.

“We’re in the hurt business. I see she’s been around, show your face. You’re human”, said Tyson.

Like Rousey, the former world heavyweight boxing champion was considered unbeatable until his loss to underdog Buster Douglas.

Tyson compared the Rousey-Holm fight to David versus Goliath, saying that Holm will never “be out of Ronda’s shadow”.

“She’s just unfortunate that she’s a Goliath. David is a great king, he’s done great things. He built the civilisation! But he’s more famous for beating Goliath.”

Holly Holm is set to defend the Bantamweight Title against Miesha Tate at UFC 193 on March 6, 2016.

Rousey is set to host “Saturday Night Live” but a return to the octagon is still uncertain.
