Kiwi import qualifies for Aus water polo

Kiwi water polo forward Joe Kayes has been cleared to play for Australia at the Rio Olympics.
Kayes has been training with the men's team but has only just been given clearance to play by the sport's governing body, FINA.
"For us it will be very helpful to have two quality centre forwards but he (Joe) will need some time to adapt to our style of the game," coach Elvis Fatovic said on Sunday.

The Sharks have played with one centre forward in recent years, but Fatovic has signalled a shift to playing with two men up front.
Kayes spent four seasons playing professionally in Hungary before he became an Australian citizen in 2015.
The Sharks are in camp in Sydney ahead of an overseas tour to Japan and the US.
