Incredibly elaborate Rock-inspired TD celebration

There are elaborate celebrations in sport and then there’s what a star in gridiron’s Arena Football League pulled out in homage to wrestling star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Tiger Jones had just reeled in a touchdown pass for the Jacksonville Sharks on Sunday when he ran over to one of his teammates and clotheslined him in a choreographed professional wrestling-inspired move.

The former college star at Louisville channelled ‘The Rock’ during the peak of his days with the WWE in making sure his ‘prone’ teammate’s arms were by his side.

After bouncing off would-be ropes Jones completed the celebration by dropping the Rock’s trademark move, the ‘People’s Elbow’.

The celebration didn’t escape the attention of Johnson, with the Hollywood star tweeting his approval.
