Ice hockey player pulls off one of the best saves ever
He’s not even a goalkeeper, but a little-known ice hockey player has pulled off one of the best saves you’ll see in any sport.
The St John’s Ice Caps were trailing the Binghamton Senators late in their AHL clash and benched their goaltender in search of a goal.
That aggressive move looked to have backfired when they lost possession of the puck, allowing a Senators player to take a shot at the empty net.

Footage from the match shows Ice Cap Bud Holloway fling himself in front of the goal and with unbelievable hand-eye coordination, deflect the flying puck away with his stick.
Despite Holloway’s miraculous play, St John’s went down to Binghamton.
