The much anticipated boxing bout between former world champion Jeff Horn and rising star Tim Tszyu remains in the balance, with the two camps clashing over a rematch clause and the amount of rounds.

The promoters of the two fighters met on Friday in a bid to resolve some differences and reach an agreement.

The two parties have agreed on April 22 as the date for the junior middleweight bout, but a couple of major sticking points remained following some heated discussions.

The Horn camp are insisting on a rematch clause, something the Tszyu team don't want.

Team Tszyu want a 12 round fight and the rival camp won't go beyond 10.

Horn is believed to be getting a 60-40 split of the money with the fight to be held in the place that makes the most sense financially.

It's likely there will be one more week for an agreement to be reached.

The two fighters are ranked in different weight divisions and are each coming off a win last month.

Junior middleweight Tszyu (15-0, 11 KOs) is No,7 in the IBF and No.9 in the WBO.

Middleweight Horn (20-2-1, 13 KOs) is No.8 in the WBA and 13 in the IBF.
