A hole-in-one is the holy grail of golf.

But US star Rickie Fowler has taken it the next level after sinking the feel good shot of the year with a tee shot straight into the cup to raise $1 million for an autism charity.

Playing in Ernie Els' charity event at the Old Palm Club in Florida, Fowler teed up on a special 19th hole in front of huge gallery where the seven figure pay day was on offer.

But while he's sunk many important shots to line his own pockets, the 27-year-old hit a perfect 103m iron shot to this time help those in real need with the proceeds filling the coffers of Els' beloved autism charity.

Fowler was rightfully mobbed by fans, who cheered in joy and embraced the young gun on the tee.

Now that's what we call a perfect ace.
