* Torch lighting ceremony in ancient Olympia held without spectators.

ATHLETICS

* World indoor championships in Nanjing postponed

* Paris and Barcelona marathons postponed.

SOCCER

* Spain's top two divisions postponed for two weeks

* Champions League last-16 legs Manchester City v Real Madrid, Juventus v Olympique Lyonnais postponed

* Major League Soccer season suspended

* All soccer in Netherlands suspended until end of March

* Asian World Cup qualifying matches (March-June) postponed

* South American World Cup qualifying matches postponed

* Champions League: Barcelona v Napoli, Bayern Munich v Chelsea to be played without fans

* Europa League ties involving Spain's Getafe and AS Roma postponed
